| Details: | Sarah working with the vineyard owner notified DWS that the new well drilled in Dec 2022 (L147395) had not been properly shock chlorinated and flushed prior to being put into service, resulting in a total coliform positive samples. The well was not given final approval. ODA will work with the system to obtain final approval. Once information is submitted so that DWS can issue final approval, including verification that the well was properly shock chlorinated and flushed, the requirement to install residual disinfection will be postponed, so long as no other samples have shown a presence of total coliform. |
