| Details: | Routine coliform taken 9/6 E.coli positive. Called JJ and Amanda at lab regarding repeat and triggered samples. Lab will take repeat samples tomorrow a.m. and have results by early Saturday. Emailed JJ and George Boil Water PN template and JJ will work to have it ready to distribute if necessary. Also forwarded positive E.coli letter. JJ and George will inspect well and reservoir today to see if any obvious defects or contamination pathways. System had several positive samples in 2019 possibly attributed to the large screen openings without turn-downs on the reservoir. If any of the repeat results are positive for total or E.coli a boil water public notice will be necessary until additional samples show absent of bacteria. Result will dictate further action. |
