| Details: | Total microcystins were detected at 1.45 ug/L in Josephine Co Parks Lake Selmac 1's routine every-two-week raw water sample collected Wednesday 9/13/23. As a result, monitoring of the raw water has been increased to weekly. An entry point (finished water) must be collected within 1 business day and entry point monitoring continue weekly going forward. Update 9/22/23: Both raw and finished water samples collected 9/18/23 were non-detect for toxins. PWS will continue raw/finished water monitoring for at least 1 more week. Update 9/29/23: water system qualifies to discontinue entry point (EP) monitoring and return to every-two-week source monitoring since cyanotoxins were non-detect in two consecutive EP samples and less than the trigger levels in two consecutive source samples. Operator informed of schedule change by DEQ lab this date. | ||
