Details:	01.10.2024 - Nathan Anderson with the National Park Services email me reporting the following corrective actions: - Turbidity meters have been calibrated. - No adequate means to determine flow rate on contact chamber effluent line: the NPS has a project to rehabilitate the existing water treatment plant. Part of that improvement will be to construct a new flow meter. In the meantime, there is a flow meter at the discharge side of the plant. The existing tank functions so that the tank generally remains full within 2-3 inches of maximum. Therefore, the total flow volume discharging from the plant corresponds well with the amount of water used. Extension granted to 09.23.24. - Free chlorine residual not maintained: Corrective action completed. Since the time of the inspection, the operator has installed a back-up generator system that addressed that issue. - No coliform plan: The NPS created a plan based on the template provided in September 2023. - Backflow prevention assemblies are tested annually. Completed, 2023 report provided for verification. -Lead and copper initial sampling not reported: In process, samples still pending. - No Operation and Maintenance Manual: Completed. - No ERP: ERP completed. - No plan review approval for WTP: Plans and specifications are approximately 75 percent complete. Time extension granted to 09.23.2024. -No protocol for under certified operator: in process. Time extension granted to 09.23.2024 12.29.2023 - I emailed Steve and John inquiring about the system's actions taken to address the survey deficiencies. 9.25.2023 - A copy of the 2023 survey report and cover letter was emailed to John and Nathan. several survey deficiencies are due on 11.13.2023. A time extension was granted to address plan review violation and conduct a tracer study. No inventory updates.
