| Details: | I called Mike Stone regarding the positive total coliform test from distribution. I mentioned that one repeat sample at that same tap (or one next to it) is required, as well as one sample from each active well on that system, to be collected within 10 days as the Upper system is still an Oregon Very Small (OVS) system. Mike said that Well #6 is shut off to the water system currently, and was shut off around June as there was a leak in the accompanying line. So Well #8 is still online to the Upper system, therefore a sample is required from there. Mike says that the system is considering running a 1" Wirsbo down a 2" PVC line to stop the leak issue and attempt to bring Well #6 back online at some point in the future. |
