Details: | Survey deficiencies update 09.19.2024-Colton submitted a copy of the contract with 541 Water Inc, upgrade the water treatment facilities at Lavern Park and West Lavern Park. The contractor is currently ordering parts to complete the project. The estimated completion date is November 20, 2024. Next steps: A time extension has been granted to November 30 to address all significant deficiencies still pending. The operator is also reminded that plan review approval is needed for all major modifications. 10.06.2023-Colton submitted an action plan to construct and install the water treatment improvements. The due date to address the survey deficiency related to the membrane filter operation has been extended to Oct 31, 2024. -9.29.2023-Colton Totland, Coos County Counsel, reached out via phone to inform that the county is planning to contract with a water treatment consultant to redesign and build a new water treatment facility for Lavern and Lavern West parks. Adam DeSemple recommended contacting Business Oregon partners - who manage several funding programs. Christopher Frazer is the Regional Development Officer with Business Oregon. Coos is one of the counties he manages. Next steps: Colton emailed Craig Storm, the head of Coos County parks department. Craig will reach out to Christopher to discuss funding options. Colton was advised to provide an action plan with the dates when Coos County is expecting to resolve the survey deficiencies still pending. The plan must be submitted as soon as possible. |
