| Details: | This water system, due to aquifer sensitivity and possible high water tables, is required to collect total coliform "Assessment" water samples at the well on a Monthly basis, and "Routine" samples in distribution Quarterly. Valley of the Moon has been collecting total coliform samples monthly, however, those results show a chlorine residual which indicates they may actually be "routine" distribution samples rather than "assessment" samples at the source. On 10/3 I called the operator and we scheduled a site visit for Thursday 10/5 where I will visit the water system and we can identify which tap the samples are collected from, which I was told is inside the well house. That way, we can identify the raw source water tap, prior to chlorination, where the Assessment samples should be collected from on a Monthly basis, and where the distribution sample site is located after chlorination, which could be a Routine sample location. |
