| Details: | Phone call with Charles regarding the E. coli positive sample from well #1 (SRC-AA). He stated he shut down the well after the positive sample. I let him know to reactivate the well and take 5 repeat samples from that well (SRC-AA) within 24 hrs and to not shock chlorinate beforehand. Update 10/6/23- phone call with operator, he was dropping confirmation samples off at the lab this morning, will have results tomorrow, Sat. 10/7/23 at 1:30 pm. He was also shutting down well #1. I left messages for State OHA- after hours ph. number to see if a boil water notice was needed going into the weekend and have not heard back as of 4 pm today. Update 10/10/23: Phone call with operator; all 5 confirmation samples are absent for E. coli and one is positive for total coliform. Let him know that since original positive sample was source assessment sample and system is on residual, no further action is required at this time. He will go back to monthly bacteria testing. |
