| Details: | I called David Jacobs regarding the current status of the process to combine Columbia Hills HOA's main system #41-06118 with their smaller upper system #41-06211. David said that the system is in conditional approval, but not yet operational approval. So they will take a pressure test, chlorinate the system, take all the required samples and then check with DWS for final approval to operate. David collected water samples yesterday, including annual routine raw water samples of all active wells, Nitrate samples and Radiological samples from the lower main system. David added that newer wells #11 and #14 are now completed projects. He added that new piping was installed, their spray system to remove hydrogen sulfide via aeration will be moved inside a building to allow multiple barriers. David also added that the new storage tank is filled with year and a half old water, which will be dumped to prevent putting stagnant water of that age into distribution; the storage tank will be refilled. David also mentioned that someone in charge of treatment system maintenance is finishing installing water softeners to this system as well. |
