Details: The water system has had a couple of months of multiple coliform detections starting in August 2023.

8/7/23: 3 coliform samples were collected and 2 were positive for total coliform; source absent
8/14/23: 5 coliform samples collected with 4 total coliform positive and source absent
9/12/23: 1 coliform sample collected and was positive for total coliform
9/19/23: 4 coliform samples collected and 2 positive for total coliform
10/2/23: 1 coliform sample collected and was positive for total coliform

System has been experiencing distribution repairs and replacements of standpipes. Issues are in the distribution system as the source has been testing absent for bacteria. System is close to having to install treatment due to persistent coliform. System has been struggling with labeling of the sample types when submitting to the lab so some violations have been generated. System has been very responsive to follow up requests and reaching out with questions. System has been attempting to do a low chlorine dose in the storage tank with flushing to clear out the bacteria.

Further action may be needed depending on future results.
