| Details: | Dawn Denney (Barlow Water District) contacted me today in regard to a service repair at 34 N. Eagle Point in Tygh Valley, OR 97063. The question had to do with the proximity to a neighboring drain field that was in 34 N. Eagle Point Dr. and Michelle (owner of property) was concerned that the service line connection was passing through an existing/active drain line. Don Veenker connected to the residence and was asked not to. Dawn wanted was looking for guidance on moving forward. I looked up old records for the property but could not find any that matched that property. I instructed Dawn to review their ordinance for the water system and to talk with the Barlow Water District board members to see if legal aid would be necessary. Dawn thought that they may be able to re-route the piping to maintain setbacks to the drain field per the original request of the homeowner and avoid any further issues with the undesired installation. Dawn also informed me that Don Veenker had issued a boil water notice for the repairs, however he did not submit the notice to NCPHD. I requested a copy of that and informed her of the process's for issuing public notices. I also requested the recent special sample that was taken for that public notice, as it was not recorded in data online. | ||
