| Details: | The water system had an initial detection of 2,4-D on a 7/25/23 sample. A resample was done on 9/19/23 and the result was .000272ppm which was an increase from the previous sample. The system is well below the MCL of .07ppm. The system was placed on quarterly monitoring with the next sample needed 4th qtr 2023. The system investigated and determined that the chemical had been applied in the setback area around the well (pesticide). Measures will be taken to better protect the water source. No further action is needed at this time. | ||
