Details: | On 10/5/2023 I e-mailed Brian Moore regarding the status of the low pressure services identified in the 8/31/2022 water system survey. In my e-mail I stated: "There was a deadline to address the low pressure issues by 9/30/23 for Nehalem from the 8/31/22 survey, which identified this as a significant deficiency. I will need a plan with some estimated dates to: 1) Submit plans for the project 2) Complete construction and have the issue fully resolved. Can you provide some estimates of what these dates might be?". Brian replied on 10/5/2023: "The construction and valve was completed and paved August 29th. We got together with Kyle and Fire Dept on September 14th . It was tested and is working as intended . Issue fully resolved." Background: In the City's Corrective Action Plan dated 12/5/2022, resolution of the low pressure services included installing a pressure sustaining valve at the bottom of the Riverview Meadows Phase I subdivision that will close as needed to sustain pressure for the existing development. The developer has proposed a tank, valve vault and pump station to sustain pressures for future phases of the Riverview Meadows development as a long-term solution to support the additional services within the development. |
