| Details: | On 10/18/23 I received a call from Austin Harmon regarding a total coliform positive sample taken 10/17/23 at 116 Birch Ave. I advised him on taking 3 repeat samples - one at the original positive site, 1 within 5 connections upstream, and 1 within 5 connections downstream. I also advised him to take a raw water sample from each well that was in operation as they are only treated with chlorine for residual maintenance. The repeat sample taken 10/18/23 at the original site came back total coliform positive, triggering a Level 1 coliform investigation. I followed up with more information on conducting a level 1 coliform investigation along with a link to the level 1 investigation report template via e-mail on 10/19 and 10/20/23 (link to level 1 investigation form template: https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HEALTHYENVIRONMENTS/DRINKINGWATER/RULES/Documents/revisedcoliform/L1-coliform-investigation-form.pdf) and a copy of the letter that our office would send letting them know that they needed to complete and submit the report by 12/1/2023. | ||
