| Details: | PWS asked Jackson County if they could remove the "Do Not Drink" notice for nitrate over the MCL. That restriction was issued Dec 17. A sample collected that day, and reported Dec 19, has a concentration less than the MCL. Thus, technically the PWS can remove the "Do Not Drink" notice since nitrate was measured below the MCL. Though given the historic trend of increasing nitrate concentrations, OHA recommends the "Do Not Drink" notice for INFANTS remain posted. Jackson County will pursue a requirement for nitrate treatment at this PWS. | ||
