| Details: | I traded emails and was able to speak on the phone with the new operator at this water system. We discussed the system's lead and copper testing requirements. The system did not take their lead and copper samples for the 2020-2022 compliance period. We discussed that the lead and copper sampling window is June through September. I notified the operator that the system should take their lead and copper sample sometime June-September of 2024 in order to return this violation to compliance. I provided the operator with instructions for lead and copper site selection and testing. We discussed the requirement to have a Small Water System Operator's certification and sent the operator information about how to complete the course and submit the application. |
