| Details: | The water system collected a water sample on 11/1 and it tested positive for total coliform bacteria. System wrote down a chlorine residual over 1.0. The sample result was not received from the lab until 11/7 and by then it was too late for the water system to take the follow up samples. In speaking with Kathy, the water system did replace the flow meter in the pump house. Unclear where the possible contamination is coming from. On 10/25/23 the water system collected a nitrate sample that had a result of 7.16ppm. The result is well under the MCL of 10, therefore no additional nitrate samples are needed at this time. System to continue on annual monitoring. |
