| Details: | I discussed the significant increase in the South Santiam's raw water turbidity due to the Army Corp water release at the Green Peter Reservoir with City staff. The City indicated their membrane filtration has been handling the increased turbidity levels well but had long term concerns that the sustained high raw water turbidity will shorten the planned life cycle on their existing membranes. Staff expressed interest in AWOP support to look at optimization on the filters. AWOP staff have been contacted for water system support. | ||
