Details: | It appears the chlorine residual logs have not been sent to the state since May 2023. There needs to be at least 0.2 ppm chlorine present in the water drawn from a sample point downstream from the upper storage tank, verified with daily tests. Copies of the logs documenting the daily tests need to be submitted to Drinking Water Services monthly. In addition, there is still the issue of the connection(s) upstream from the well for which there is no 4-log disinfection in place—The lack of contact time for upstream users could expose them to pathogens in their tap water. I highly recommend contacting the Circuit Rider program to get some additional help in planning a means to ensure adequate disinfection for the connections on the lower end of the system. Adding a tank similar to the one up the hill is an option. |
