| Details: | On 11/30 DWS received a complaint from a customer of Detroit's water system saying that he was burned with excess chlorine in the shower and that there is a non-certified technician. Customer did not leave a name and call back number so DWS could not investigate further. Phone duty person contacted the PWS letting them know about the complaint. Chlorine residuals for the PWS were reviewed and the results are satisfactory and within the system's normal range for residuals. The system has under-certified operators conducting routine tasks that are allowed by the DRC and follows their protocols for under-certified operators. DWS sent the form for under-certified operators in case that needed to be updated. No further actions needed. |
