| Details: | Called & left a message for the contact to let him know that the routine sample was positive for E.coli. Let him know in the message that this triggers follow up sampling. let him know in the message that if either the source sample or repeat distribution sample are total coliform or E. coli positive a boil notice will need to be issued. Mr. Lei called back at 3:30. He feels it could have been a sampling error by the lab tech. He will take a source sample at the well & repeat in the distribution system. Let him know to sample within 24 hours. Reminded him a boil advisory will need to be issued if either follow up sample is positive for total coliform or E.coli. He said he understood. |
