| Details: | On 12/8/23 I called Crow Water to follow up on the status of the discovered pressure tank from 1965, and its planned project to have the tank disconnected physically from the system. (Note: this tank was listed in a 2000 water system survey as being "not in use" and was not even listed on surveys after 2008.) Joey from Crow Water called me back and left a message saying that after speaking with Allison with Blue Flag Realty, who covers Deer Island Village MHP, they've determined that there is plumbing to that tank. So they decided that they're planning to schedule a shut down of the park, to cut the plumbing to the tank and make sure the tank can no longer be hooked up even if a valve opened or closed. And they plan to leave the tank with a hole in it and leave it in place as they can't move it without moving that wall, or building the tank is stored inside. To completely disconnect the tank so there is no question about its connection. He plans to schedule a day and let the park know that they will be working on these steps. |
