| Details: | I spoke to Erica about the routine distribution sample returning positive for coliform. She was instructed to take three repeat distribution samples and a two triggered source samples. Because Source AA is still sub surface and does not have a sample point connected to it could not be sampled. We discussed getting the SRC-AA casing above ground and installing a sample tap. It was noted in the last survey. This is a State regulated water system. Source AB was sampled and the three distribution samples returned negative. I was notified by e-mail on 12/26. We discussed elevated nitrate in November. They missed the third quarter sample for 2018 and I instructed her take a fourth quarter sample. If the level is below 10 ppm then I would return the system to an annual schedule. The results for a quarterly sample taken on 12/20 is 8.7 ppm. I will discuss the elevated nitrate with Casey Lyon before I officially change the schedule. I will talk to the owner water consumption and risk due to elevated nitrate. |
