| Details: | 12/7: I spoke with the park officials and operator regarding the initial E.coli+ source sample. They have submitted 5 confirmation source samples. The park is currently shut-down and the campsites are locked for the winter months with plans to open back up in March. They will be posting a boil water public notice. There is only a caretaker living on park grounds. They have been notified of the contamination and are on an alternative source of water. 12/8: They've posted the boil water notice. Park officials have been sent an E.coli confirmation letter. Their well will be going through an evaluation to see if they meet construction standards. They are communicating with me and are discussing between each other on what course of corrective action they will be undertaking. |
