| Details: | I spoke with Robert Trotter; we scheduled the Level 2 Coliform Investigation but also discussed how the well in question had flooded, is apparently underwater and below grade. Robert mentioned how the water system plans to put in a drain to the well head area so that it drains into a "sump pump system" and excess water or rain is pumped out away from the system. Robert added that he is shocking the well, and will isolate the pump house from distribution using a valve, and flush through the pump house to waste without it going into distribution. He plans on flushing out the system and well tomorrow. Robert also mentioned that the recent Boil Water Notices have been distributed to all users of the system's water by being placed on each door by new management. |
