| Details: | Amazon contracts with Hannah with Global Technology Solutions for water sampling collection at both Amazon facilities (Hermiston/Umatilla). Lead and Copper samples were collected on 8/22/23 and the system had both lead and copper ALE at two of the five locations. Unfortunately the locations that had hits were locations not used for potable water at the time and were unused. I reviewed sample location selection with Hannah for future reference. System has collected required follow up samples needed and public education was posted on 10/30/23. System will be collecting (2) 6-month rounds of lead and copper and is anticipating not having to install corrosion control treatment. The facilites were constructed around 2017. Follow up action items needed: (5) lead and copper samples - recommend January 2024 Entry point lead and copper sample Further action based on sample results. |
