| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: There are issues with their aging asbestos concrete distribution system (most of the distribution is AC pipe, with some areas piped in PVC where the AC pipe has outright failed). We estimate that approximately 5 miles of distribution main will have to be replaced to eliminate the extent of the aged, leaking AC pipe. The treatment facility needs to be evaluated with regards to site location and efficiency of treatment. Storage is a concern (seismic resiliency and capacity). Assistance Provided: A SIPP application was prepared for BizOR. Additional funding through EPA to help with the master plan was also initiated. Follow-Up Actions Needed: None at this time.
