| Details: | GWR 4-Log violation 02.01.2024-Received copy of the Tier 2 notice for failure to maintain 4-log treatment. Public notice was distributed to all customers via mail and newspaper on January 25, 2024. A copy of the Tier 2 notice was sent to DMCE. No further actions needed. 01.10.2024- Dustin reported that on December 10,15,16, and 24, free chlorine readings at the water treatment plant influent dropped below the required minimum residual of 0.10 mg/L. Continuous monitoring equipment did not fail at any time during the month of December. Next steps: DMCE has issued a treatment technique violation specifically for the 5.25 hours below the minimum required free chlorine level. A Tier 2 public notice is required. The water system must provide public notice to persons served as soon as practical but within 30 days from today. Dustin was instructed to download a template of the Tier 2 public notice from the Drinking Water Services webpage. If needed, a Spanish version of the template is also available online. Additional language access resources are available upon request. Dustin was instructed to email me a copy of the public notice with the date poste. |
