| Details: | The water system had collected their January coliform sample on January 30th. It was positive for total coliform bacteria. The water system is recovering from a series of broken pipes from the cold freeze that came through the area. I spoke with the manager, Laura regarding the follow up samples needed. Three repeat samples from the distribution system and a sample prior to the chlorinator are needed and will be submitted to the lab week of Feb. 5th. The system will also have to take their routine coliform sample in February as well. The chlorinator had also gone down, but the system had it repaired right away, and residual is coming back up. Further action may be needed depending on follow up results. |
