| Details: | Jimmy Unquera called to inform me that three repeat distribution samples and triggered source sample were being submitted. This is following a routine positive coliform test from 1/29/24. Additionally the system now has chlorination due to multiple positive routine samples starting in 2021. The repeat samples and triggered source sample results from 1/31/24 are absent for coliform. We discussed good aseptic procedures. The contractor that installed the chlorination system is providing assistance to Jimmy. We discussed testing chlorine residuals and logging them at least two times per week. The mill has been on monthly sampling for an extended period of time. To have the sampling returned to quarterly, as sight visit must occur. The mill is not due for a survey until 2025. I have scheduled a Level 2 investigation for Monday February 5. The mill has two conditional approvals. One for a new well installation and one for the chlorination system. I will supply Jimmy with the final approval request forms. |
