| Details: | The system incurred one distribution system pH excursion during December 6, 2018 water quality parameter testing. At one of the 7 sites (90th Avenue Pump Station) the grab sample pH was 7.4, below the 7.5 minimum. All 6 other December distribution sites and the entry point pH's were equal to or above the 7.5 minimum required value. System has incurred only 4 pH combined entry point and distribution pH excursions in the past 6 months. Indicated that since the system has incurred fewer than 10 excursions during the past 6 months, there is no violation or public notification required. Rob indicated: -no problem with soda ash feed at the plant -system runs pH's just slightly higher than the 7.5 minimum, so occasionally drops below set point -system will review excursion with controls contact, Suzanne, to try and prevent future excursions. |
