| Details: | Checked on whether they are using an LT2 compliant filter. In 2010, system was notified that existing cartridge filter was not compliant. File records show that the owner (Pat Cameron) was considering a LT2 compliant Rosedale filter and sent in a sketch in 3/2010. In 12/2010, a DWS engineer asked him to resubmit the info for plan review along with the fee. It does not appear the fee was submitted so no PR. File notes indicate that they planned to install Rosedale filter in 2012. There was no update of filter type in the system schematic in the 2015 system survey. For the short term issue of documenting that they do have an LT2 compliant filter, I asked Pat to take a photo of the filter model in use next time he goes to the lodge (it's off season now) and send it to me. After further research, I emailed Pat with the minimum requirements needed to complete plan review now for the change of filter, and the current required fee ($825). Otherwise, this issue will come up as a significant deficiency during their next system survey. Update 1/22/19: Pat is now mailing in the PR info and fee. Also, Pat said they are selling the Marial Lodge and hope to finish the paperwork in February 2019. I asked him to let us know when to change the contact information for the water system. I also encouraged him to contact our plan review engineer so that lingering requirement does not carry over into the sale process. |
