| Details: | Reached out to OHA about the process for oregon very small water systems. Waiting for a response. Leak in the line. EDIT: Hello, I am reaching out to offer assistance for the recent repeat sample coliform alert for your water system. Date: 2/23/2024 To summarize our phone call: • The last freezing weather conditions resulted in a break in the distribution. • Operator is in the middle of contracting someone to repair the line • The system is not used for drinking; however, sinks use the water for hand-washing • The plan moving forward is to repair the line, shock the well with an NSF approved disinfectant, and collect a special sample up and downstream from the repair. • Operator will communicate with Linn Co Environmental health throughout the process to demonstrate the removal and disinfection of the contamination source. @Bleekman Amy – Please interject if you find any issues with the guidance I provided to the operator, Clint.
