Details: On 2/27/24, Robert Trotter called and asked about the violation notice from DWS. For 4th quarter 2023 McNulty's violation was due to Arsenic sample non-reporting, however according to Robert, and an accompanying Contact Report from August 2023, that ASR - Aquifer Storage and Recovery zone and the source in question, Robinette well (EP-D) was taken offline starting from August 2023 and continuing into today and until further notice.
Oregon DWS reviewed this and since we confirmed that source was offline to the water system that entire 4th quarter, the violation for non-sampling was removed for McNulty Water PUD.
Discussing the current status of McNulty's Arsenic Treatment System, Robert says they will change out the filter system's media prior to putting the well online. Other issues about the Arsenic Treatment System included that its vessels were not UV coated, and that the materials were freezing. Robert added that they had the vessels painted with a UV coating.
