| Details: | I spoke with George who is the Regional Environmental Engineer for the PDX facilities. This facility was built around 2017. The premise plumbing is copper. This is a large facility with low potable water use. Likely the issues this facility is seeing with both lead and copper is water stagnation in the pipes. George said they are working on a remediation plan for this facility. I shared the 3T's guide (applies to schools but also had good steps for worksites). Water quality parameters collected tested the pH over 8. This system met the 90% on the 2/13/24 samples. They will have a treatment recommendation to DWS by 4-15-24. | ||
