| Details: | EH accompanied by County LUP Code Compliance visited the RV/mobile home park to see the new well, now designated CLAT 55637/L-150188. This has been the primary source of water for the system since its completion in May 2023. Conditional Approval had been granted for the Plan Review Application which was received by DWS in March of 2024. Fifteen conditions were specified by DWS, in a "punch list" of requirements. Of these conditions, eight may be considered in compliance. As of this writing, there are three known wells on the property. One was abandoned years ago and was identified by the park manager as being under a concrete slab on the west side of the park, another (CLAT 55636) is disconnected from distribution and capped by the drillers contracted for the new well in 2023, and the third (CLAT 55637) is supplying water to the RV park and residents of the mobile home park, despite not being approved by DWS. Revised, 6/12/2024: The concrete slab identified as the site of the old well by park manager likely is the site of the septic tank that has been out of service since the new commercial system went online in or around 2014. |
