| Details: | yearly nitrate sample came back with 10.3 milligrams per liter (mg/l). The maximum contaminant level for nitrate is 10 mg/l. We will need a confirmation sample along with quarterly sampling. If the avg of the initial and confirmation is above the MCL treatment will be required; alternatively, if the average is below the MCL, quarterly monitoring will be required until there are 4 consecutive quarters that are below the MCL. |
