| Details: | System had multiple repeat positive coliform tests after an initial positive Called and spoke to the operator about the results and a Coliform Level 1 investigation being required due to the positive repeats Operator remarked on potential contamination from; rain, possibly high water table, level of the river and the wells proximity to the river being a reason for the positive tests. Operator will do a Level 1 investigation and take 3 routine samples in May. Prior to taking the next routine samples in May the Operator will shock the well and flush the system. Operator will also test for removing the residual chlorine using the dpd test kit at sampling points to ensure that the chlorine has been removed prior to taking the routine samples. |
