| Details: | I received a complaint via a phone call regarding the possible contamination of a portion of the distribution network of this water system. The complainant alleged that he and a few of his neighbors in this RV park were experiencing diarrheal symptoms and suspected it was the water system. However, none of the ill persons sought medical attention for their diarrheal symptoms. According to the complainant there had been repairs to a water line near their RV space and suspected there may have been some contamination introduced into the system. I then spoke to the RV park manager, Kelley Wickizer, and she confirmed that some repairs were made to a water line in this area of the park last week. She was unsure if there was any contamination introduced into the system but did state that the water system was shut down, so there may have been little or no pressure in the system. She is going to do some coliform sampling in the area of the water line repairs. Awaiting results of sampling. I emailed her the BMP documents for water line breaks and loss of pressure incidents. |
