Details: | Spoke to Glenn and then again to Jesse (1/17/19). Arsenic treatment is expected soon. Without treatment quarterly sampling continues and arsenic levels remain above the MCL for both wells sampled: 1. Provide another written public notice and continue to do so every 90 days until treatment is shown to be effective. 2. Forward a copy of the public notice to Coos County (or DWS). Well L80721 is up the first asphalt drive from the property entrance maybe 200 feet. Glenn's description of what he calls well #2 is L80721, but SDWIS calls it well #1. A sample was also collected from well #3 which is very near the highway entrance to the property. This well is not being used as a source and as per Glenn there is no intent to use it as a source. As such I explained if piping was physically cut between the well and the system (and then the lines capped) there would be no need to further sample this source. Jesse also relayed he hoped the details of the plan review approval process for well #4 would be completed soon. |
