| Details: | Background/Problem Identification: Steve Soesbe of Siskiyou Field Institute contacted the Circuit Rider (CR) to request assistance with evaluating the performance of their turbidimeter and the possible need to replace it. An initial support effort resulted with the CR concluding that options need to be explored for replacing the system’s turbidimeter and controller. Assistance Provided: The CR contacted Steve initially to follow up on several items from the previous support effort. The CR made multiple attempts to obtain a response. Steve eventually got back to the CR and indicated that everything was set for now pending the outcome of funding opportunities that he was pursuing. The CR provided Steve with additional information on a turbidimeter/controller replacement option based on experience gained while working with another system designed and installed by David Funderburk of Quality Water Systems. Steve expressed his appreciation for the information. Recent follow-up communication with Steve continues to indicate that no further support is needed. The CR extended an invitation for Steve to request assistance if required in the future, to which Steve acknowledged his understanding.
