| Details: | Hello, Your water system recently had a lab test come back high in Nitrate. The nitrate level is greater than half of the maximum contaminant level (MCL). MCL for Nitrate = 10 mg/L ˝ MCL for nitrate = 5 mg/L Test Result: 6.4 mg/L Your system is now required to test nitrate quarterly. Once there are three consecutive quarterly samples that are below the 1/2MCL, your system can return to annual nitrate testing. @DWS Compliance - Can you please change their nitrate sampling schedule to quarterly? The chemical Schedule form is attached. Thank you. |
