Details: | 2024 PWS Survey 01.16.2025-Yvonne emailed me reporting the next steps in addressing the two survey deficiencies still pending. Zach will conduct an assessment of the Ranney system's chlorine injection and raw turbidity. A conference call was scheduled for 01.23.2025 to discuss the scope of the assessment. Next steps: following Zach's assessment, a corrective action plan will be developed. The plan may include recommendations for system upgrades, modifications, or operational changes. 10.16.2024-Operator requested an extension until January 31, 2025, to address the pending survey deficiencies, specifically: incomplete OnM manual for the Neptune Microfloc; unacceptable down well continuous treatment and incorrect source water turbidity monitoring location. 06.29.2024-Operator emailed photo documentation verifying that the hatches for tanks 1-3, 5, and 8-11 are locked, adequately secured and watertight. photo documentation was also provided to verify that the drain and overflow lines for tanks 1 and 9 are equipped with a flap valve or screen. Time extension granted for the system to complete SOPs for the Neptune Microfloc water treatment plant operation, relocate source water turbidity monitoring and address the down well continuous treatment. New due date is November 15, 2024. 12-month MPA testing will begin in January 2025, following the completion of the survey corrective action. 05.21.2024- MS Teams meeting with Casey, and Jacobs staff (Dustin, Yvonne, Brad and Emily), to discuss corrective actions to address survey significant deficiencies. Next steps: Jacobs will submit a corrective action plan by June 29, 2024. Edit survey report to correct typo on survey report regarding the length of the contact pipe. The contact pipe is 2.8 miles long, not 2.5 miles. 05.11.2024-Water system survey report and cover letter emailed to DMCE and to PWS operator. Corrective actions for significant deficiencies noted in the survey report are due on 06.29.2024. |
