Details: I spoke with Mr. Irwin on 5/3/24 and again on 5/6 and 5/7/24 regarding the MCL exceedance for nitrate for this system.
I generated a public notice (nitrate) for this system which was distributed on 5/6/24, and had been in consultation with the operator Irwin on developing a plan to install treatment for the nitrate exceedance once again.
The system intends to seek advice from circuit riders and either install central treatment and/or in home treatment if more viable. He also intends to submit a confirmation sample (nitrate) by the end of May.
Th system should receive letter from DWS on treatment options and requiring the written plan for this as well.
