Details: On May 30, I spoke with Robert Trotter to discuss the current status of McNulty Water PUD's Arsenic Treatment System and adjacent water source, the Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) zone.
Robert replied that the Arsenic Treatment System's vessels were emptied of all media, and are planned to be refilled with more media next month.
Robert says that particular ASR Zone water source is offline and not in use, but they are in the process of flushing it, and the Arsenic Treatment System will be evaluated for effectiveness prior to its use and prior to putting that source (ASR zone) back online to the system as well.
