| Details: | Complainant called regarding discolored water after pressure was restored in the apartment building after maintenance work. A sample collected by the complainant shortly afterwards tested positive for E. coli using a test kit from Amazon. I explained OHA typically only recognizes samples run by a lab as having legitimacy. I told them that I had spoken with city staff after I initially received the complaint, and the city is willing to collect a bacteria sample at their apartment as a courtesy. I gave the complainant the city staff’s contact information to arrange a day/time for the sample collection. | ||
