| Details: | I met with Ms. Fuller and discussed the recent repeat positive total coliform samples taken on 6/4/24. It appears there is contamination at the well/groundwater. She stated they had recently had a pump replacement with the installers failing to shock equipment or the well after service. I calculated and assisted Fuller with shock chlorination of the system including notice, shocking at the well, and proper system priming, holding, and flushing of the system afterward. I also provided a level 1 investigation for completion (30 days) and informed her 3 temporary routines would be due in July, 2024 as a follow up to repeat samples returning as positive (quarterly system). CORRECTION: This system is currently on a monthly schedule for coliform. I spoke with Ms. Fuller on 6/11/24 and informed her she needed only to take a single coliform sample next month (July) and each additional month until otherwise directed. The system also completed shock chlorination of the entire system and was in the process of completing flushing on this latest visit. |
