Details: | PR 3-2022 Updates 04.22.2025-The operator has reported the successful sanitization of the lines. Installation is complete for check valves (at the line connection and well shed) and two shutoff valves (at the line connection and near the well shed). Importantly, both shutoffs are currently in the closed position until final plan review approved. The next step is water meter installation, scheduled for tomorrow, April 23rd. Following that, the operator will proceed with submitting the final plan review approval form to the DWS regional engineer next week. 04.02.2025-The operator reports that they are nearing completion of the requirements outlined in the conditional approval letter. The next steps involve installing service meters and disinfecting the water line from the pump house to the distribution system. These actions are expected to be completed by the end of April. Upon completion of all requirements, the operator will submit a request for final approval to Rebecca - Plan review engineer. 10.04.2024-The operator submitted photo documentation to DWS plan review engineer, showing the city hookup at the meter and back flow assembly. The system status has been updated to System Proposed. It will remain this way until they can connect to the new well as their source of drinking water. No further actions needed at this time. 06.25.2024- The operator was contacted by DWS plan review engineer as part of the water system's open plan review. The operator was advised to provide as-built information showing how the listed condition of its public water system have been met. This will allow DWS to review and finalize the plan reviewer process for the PWS. 06.22.2024 - The system received plan review conditional approval for the construction of a new groundwater well at Port Orford RV Village. |
