| Details: | Cascade Gorge Properties recently had disinfection by-product results that were over the maximum contaminant limit (MCL) for Total Trihalomethanes (TTHM) and Total Haloacetic Acids (HAA5). The result for the TTHM was 0.0835 mg/L and the MCL is 0.0800. The result for HAA5 was 0.0772 mg/L and the MCL is 0.0600. At this time the system needs to continue with quarterly monitoring. If the disinfection by-product results continue to be over the MCL for one year, a public notice will be required and potentially treatment could be required. I suggested contacting the circuit rider, Civil West Engineering Services, for on-site help. | ||
