| Details: | Spoke with Dennis regarding the turbidity spike that occurred on May 2nd. Water from Goodrich Lake was turned into the system that day, which typically causes a brief turbidity spike. When the turbidimeter has readings >5 NTU for two minutes, the incoming water is sent to waste. A 4-hour compliance reading happened to occur during that two-minute time frame. No more than 2000 gallons of water above 5 NTU was sent into the 4.5 MG contact tank before it was redirected. The turbidity dropped back below 5 NTU in less than four hours, with the next four-hour reading being 1.42 NTU, and was redirected back into the contact tank. The turbidity spike was not representative of the overall water quality that day. | ||
